High Lander Vega UTM is a flight plan approval portal for drone pilots. It’s the best way for drone pilots to ensure airspace safety and compliance with airspace regulations.
Create flight plans for your drone missions via an easy-to-use interface, submit them for instant approval, and fly without fear of collisions or fines.
How to use the app
The interface is simple. Open the live map and define the area in which you wish to fly, the maximum altitude, and mission timeframe. Then submit it to Vega UTM. Within moments, the system will check your plan against local airspace regulations and current drone activity and tell you if it’s safe and legal to fly or not.
Flight plans will be rejected if there is a risk of a collision or if the proposed area encroaches on NFZs or other flight restrictions. In such cases, you will be informed of the reason for denial, enabling you to adjust your flight plan accordingly.
How to connect?
Simply register your personal details and drone ID to create a user account. You can connect your drones to the app via your drone’s built-in LTE connection, an external RID module, or via a connection to High Lander’s Orion drone fleet management platform.
How does it work?
Vega UTM Go is a pilot portal to Vega UTM, High Lander’s world-leading unmanned traffic management system. Vega is based on virtual control tower regions and uses telecommunications infrastructure, direct broadcast, external hardware integrations, and data sharing to gather information about airspace traffic within its borders.
Vega is the brainchild of High Lander, a leader in drone fleet and air traffic management software solutions and a member of the Global UTM Association. High Lander was the first UTM provider to be granted a license to approve drone flights nationwide.
Features:
